Manchester United manager, Ole 'Ugonna' Solskjaer has tipped United academy graduate, Dean Henderson to become Manchester United and England's commander-in-chief of goal post affairs.
Henderson has spent his last two seasons on loan as Sheffield United's number 1 shotstopper, guiding his team to promotion and further impressing in his first season in the EPL top flight.
The Red Devils are expected to grant an extension of his loan deal to the Blades, for the completion of the current season which hit the covid-19 'gallop' in March.
Reports claim that discussions are on-going with the council of elders about where his future lies for the next season.
"Dean has made some great choices over the years and has developed fantastically," said Solskjaer.
"We're looking at that in terms of where he's going to be next season, but as yet that has not been decided.
"This season has proved a great experience for him, he's done himself some favours with his performances, and proved he will be England's No 1 and Man United's No 1 at some point."
Current Manchester United commander-in-chief of goal post affairs, David Osinachi De Gea signed a new four-year contract last September, but clearly Ole has eyes on a bigger picture.
"It's not my job to keep the players happy or in the team or out of it. Part of it is their responsibility of performing and doing well.
"Dean has made some great choices over the years and developed fantastically - and still is."
