The Premier League season is set to restart on 17 June with Aston Villa v Sheffield United and Manchester City v Arsenal, according to the BBC.
The matches are the two games in hand.
A full fixture list would then be played on the weekend of 19-21 June. The Premier League was suspended on 13 March because of the Covid-19 pandemic and there are still 92 fixtures yet to be played.
The season will resume with the matches to be played behind closed doors (empty stadia) which means both fans and players will miss the 'jara' excitement that comes with fans singing and shouting in the stadium.
However the joy of watching football again is enough for now. It is now a case of "half bread is better than chin-chin" as we say in Naija. #ManUtdNaijaFM #PremierLeagueResumes
