United 1-0 Wolves: 5 Things We Learnt As United Bit 'The Wolves'

Manchester United finally passed the Wolves exam after five attempts with a slim 1-0 victory at Old Trafford to move to the fourth round of the FA cup

Here's what #ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from the victory:

1. JUAN 'BANKOLE' MATA
The little magician picked up from where he stopped against Norwich. He had a very good game, pulling the strings in midfield and attack.

He iced his performance with a beautiful chip to finish a super counter attack move.

2. SERGIO 'ODESHI' ROMERO
The ever reliable 'power bank' goalkeeper remained true to his name 'Odeshi'( Doesn't leak) by keeping another clean sheet on the night.

Even when his 'village people attempted to 'put sand-sand in his garri' with that 10th minute goal, VAR came to the rescue!! He has now kept 34 clean sheets in 54 appearances for United.

3. AFTER FIVE ATTEMPTS
In the last one year, Wolves have formed a habit of beating United at home, away, FA cup, Carling cup, EPL, even African Nations cup!!

United sat the Wolves exam again and were lucky to pass, even though the scoreline was 'let my people go' as we say in Naija. Maybe their yellow Jersey has been their magic.

4. NEMANJA 'AGU' MATIC.
The midfield lion(Agu) played his 100th game for United last night against Wolves. It was a landmark game for the Serbian.
It was another Mati-Matic-al display alongside Fred in the heart of midfield since coming back into the side. Kudos to him. In Falz's voice, "Wehdone sir".

5. JONAH LINGARD IS BACK!!!
After sadly watching our 'whiz-kid', Marcus 'Rashidi-Yekini', limp off the field with an injury, pepper was added to the injury as United's 'most loved' player and 'Jonah' replaced him.

Fans had hoped the fish would swallow him for 3 games!!

IN THE END, It was good to finally get one over Wolves and sad to see Rashford hobble off with an injury.
Kudos to Harry 'Okuta' Maguire and his backline crew.
One step at a time, may Manchester United's 'glory ministry gradually move to the  permanent site'.

 GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED.
