CITY 1-2 UNITED: 5 Things We Learnt As United Painted Manchester Red

With only few days to recover from the drunken excitement of the victory over Tottenham and old boss Jose Mourinho, United fans have been slammed with another "bottle of victory" against noisy neighbours and defending champions, Manchester city.

Here are five things #ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from this adrenaline-soaked victory:

1. LETS RELOCATE TO ETIHAD
With this victory, the Etihad seems to be a good ground for United. United have now lost just one game in the last five at Etihad and are now the 1st team to beat City more than once at the Etihad under Pep Guardiola.

Like we say in Naija, "abi we should kukuma pack to Etihad?".

2. BUS STOP
There's only one way to describe United's right back- Aaron Wan-Bisaka Bus stop. The man stops everything!! HIS 69th minute stop of Sterling was "Nkwobis-tic" as that was definitely a goal coming.

He was outstanding again today, stopping everything and everybody with the ball. We even thank God he didn't do a sliding tackle on the referee whenever he handled the ball.

3. "PLAY ME, I PLAY YOU!"
That was the story of the first 30minutes of the first half today. United played with a "nothing de happen" approach, attacking City with confidence.

It was a tactic that paid off as the two goals scored in that time gave us the three points when we lost gas. With a little more luck, Rashford could have had two more.

4. FRED-McDOMINATE
Without our most creative player Paul 'Ikenna' Pogba, Scot McTom-Tom and Fred have stepped up in the heart of midfield. Together they have been tough and resilient.

They were buzzing today with energy against the dangerous duo of De-Bryune and Silva, and successfully kept them in their inner pockets. I hope they remember to offload them after the match.

5. RASHFORD-MARTIAL-JAMES
This front three punished City today with their quick feet. They were exciting to watch on the counter. Each of them would have had a goal each if James had taken his chances well....kudos to him though. He is indeed Daniel 'Osondu' James

With more game time together and more victories, belief will set in and they might become 'Willy-Willy' for defenders.

In the end, a special kudos('Gboza') must go to the defence crew led by Maguire for holding on despite the pressure from City today.
Beating Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola in one week feels like a dream.....The team deserves some accolades.
