UNITED 2-0 SWANSEA: Five Things We Learnt As United Swept Off Swansea.

After 3 weeks of holiday from Premier league action, Manchester United hosted Swansea City at Old Trafford for a league clash.
Two goals from Romelu 'Timaya' Lukaku and Alexis 'Balogun' Sanchez were enough to secure a 4th straight win.

Here are five things Man United Naija FM learnt today:

1. 100 'GBOZA' FOR LUKAKU
United's Striker-in-chief, Romelu Lukaku scored his 26th goal of the season and his 100th Premier league goal making him the youngest foreign player to achieve the feat.

The big Belgian had a terrific game, combining well with Lingard (whose movements were fantastic today) and Alexis to score a 'photocopy' of his goal against Saudi Arabia during the international break.

2. IT WAS ALEXIS' DAY
The Chilean who has struggled since joining United from Arsenal suddenly came alive today. Everything worked for him. He lost the ball a few times and successfully recovered it.

He capped his performance with an assist for Lukaku and a well taken goal. We hope the revival has begun.

3. SHAW IS IN TROUBLE
José has come under a lot of scrutiny for his treatment of Luke 'Ajebota' Shaw- keeping him on the bench with a seat belt!!

Watching Ashley Young today, it's clear that Luke Shaw will need to do a lot to replace him as 1st choice left back. Young has been absolutely fantastic and was once again brilliant today.

4. DE GEA IS NOT OF THIS WORLD
United's super goalie continues to make goalkeeping look as easy as eating 'corn and pear'.

Today, he made 2 saves off Tammy Abraham which he had no business saving.. He now has 16 clean sheets this season, the highest in the league. Indeed, he is true to his Naija nickname- 'Osinachi'( He came from the lord).

5. NOT BRUTAL ENOUGH
Seeing one of the best free flowing attacking displays from United this season and going two goals up early in the first half, it was sad to see United take the foot off the gas.

United should have been more brutal today. We should  have buried more goals into the Swansea net. Goals are not drugs; there is no overdose!

IN THE END, it was a good display from United as the  2-0 scorline did not tell the true story of the match.
Big congrats to Lukaku on being the latest EPL centurian goal scorer and congrats to Micheal Carrick on his debut as first team coach.

UP NEXT, Manchester City; Same time, Same station, next week. Stay tuned to  Man United Naija FM.
