A very happy new month to all United fans in Naija and beyond.
United enter December on the back of a November which saw them win 3 out of the 5 matches played, with the most painful defeat seeing us lose to 'bad bele' rivals Chelsea, in the opening ceremony of the month.
This December wil see United 'cut the ribbon' of fixtures against Arsene 'Mugabe' Wenger's side at the Emirates. We hope its a day where revenge will be served, as Jose 'Uchenna' Mourinho lost his first Premier League match to Arsenal in the same fixture last season.
Up next, United will then welcome CSKA Moscow to Old Trafford for their final group game in Europe, where they only need to avoid a heavy defeat to see them gain admission into the knock out phases of the UEFA Champions League.
Right after that, the day of reckoning shall arrive. The 'El-Manchisco' derby where United will lock heads with Pep Guardiola's high flying Manchester city side at Old Trafford. We hope this their 'initial gra gra' will have quenched by then.
Three days from that, United will entertain AFC Bournemouth in another Premier League encounter at Old Trafford, a clash which saw our talk-na-do striker, Pa Zlatan 'Ekwueme' Ibrahimovic receive a retrospective suspension last season, after trying to knock sense into the head of Tyrone Mings, after the defender knowingly tried to pin his head to the ground while he was floored.
Next, United will the travel to the Hawthorns to face a West Brom side who have just recently appointed Alan Pardew as manager. We hope their new manager groove would have ended by then, so we can 'jejely' carry our 3points and go.
Next, United will continue the defense of the Carabao Cup against Bristol city in a quarter final clash away from home.
'See ehn', even me writing, I'm fatigued already. 'This is wickedness oh'. 10 matches in 30days is not 'yam and beans'.
Anyway, United will end December with 3 EPL matches in 7 days against Leicester, Burnley and Southampton. All we are saying....Give us 9 points!
We hope the squad will stay fit and free from injury to be able to see this month through.
