LEICESTER 2-2 UNITED: 5 THINGS WE LEARNT FROM ANOTHER 'CITY WAHALA'.

The Saturday night visit to the King Power Stadium ended in gloom. With United missing glorious chances, it looked like one of such days when bad things happen at the junction before the promised land.

In this match, it didn't happen at the junction; it happened at the door mouth of 3 points as Leicester's last minute equalizer felt like a 'suya' dagger to the heart.

Here are  5 things #ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from the draw:

1. THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT UNITED AND VARDY

Leicester City's Jamie Vardy scored his 1st premier league goal against United. He scored his record-breaking 11th consecutive Premier league goal against United, and today scored his 50th goal against United.

In Naija we would ask " Vardy see Manchester United for dream?" What is it?

2. UNITED'S 'CITY' WAHALA

For the third time this December, Manchester United have lost points to a club whose name ends with 'City'. 1st Manchester, then Bristol and now a very bitter 'Ogbolo' scoreline with Leicester.

ManUtdNaijaFM is seriously hoping no other team with 'City' attached to their name comes up again....Enough is enough.

3. LUKAKU'S OPPORTUNITIES WERE WASTED

Although he did not get on the score sheet, Romelu 'Timaya' Lukaku had a great game. He carved out three amazing one-on-one chances for Anthony 'Ikechukwu' Martial, Marcus 'Rashidi-Yekini' and Mikhi.......but they all 'YAKUBU-ed' them!!!!!

4. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A WHILE

In recent times, United have played with less 'swag and effizy'; constantly lobbing the ball to Lukaku or Oga Fela.

Today was different. United seemed comfortable with the ball, kept possession more and carved out chances. There were less hurried passes, and panic-play.

Sadly, all this grammar yielded just a point......Sad

5. GOOD FOR JUAN 'BANKOLE' MATA.

Despite all the sadness and gloom of this match, it will be unfair not to commend Juan 'Bankole' Mata who has indeed re-ignited his season. Again he was a bright spark for United with his delightful brace.

With 3 assists and 2 goals in his last 4 starts, Mata seems to be back. It is so sad that his efforts today yielded 'Draw soup' instead of  'eWINdu soup'.

Kudos too to Victor Lindelof who was brilliant as today's make-shift right back.

IN THE END, this is probably the most painful 2 points dropped  by Manchester United in a really long while. ...All we can ask now is 'What to do'?
