The 5th Edition of the International Champions Cup kicked off with a Manchester Derby aka El-Manchisco. As expected, no game between the Manchester sides is ever seen as a friendly.
The game kicked off with attacking
display on both ends with the warrior himself Ander "Akinbode" Hererra resuming the confrontation. His well taken shot was beautifully palmed away by new record signing goalkeeper Ederson.
Few minutes later, De Gea has to display one of his "Superfly" moves to keep a banana shot away.
In the 37th minute, Our new "Striker-in-chief" received a superb "Up-through-pass" from Paul "Ikenna" Pogba, rounded Ederson and slotted in a "dodo" goal from a tight angle.
2 minutes later, whiz-kid Marcus "Rashidi-Yekini", blasted in a lovely pass from Magic-Mickhi into the net.
2nd half saw a host of changes. The two goal scorers came close to scoring again, with Lukaku being the closest. He damaged the cross bar with a bullet shot..... (Thank God it didn't break).
The big Belgian popped up again and scored another goal in the 64th minute which was ruled out for offside.
The match ended in with the bragging rights going the way of Manchester United.
Up next, Real Madrid on Sunday!!
